Let's start with the smooth surfaces which won't snag on anything. Then we add water resistance to 1 meter immersion. They are fog proof, as any quality optic should be, and easily mount on your M1913 Picatinny rail to co-witness with your iron sights. They include a riser in case you want 1/3 co-witness.

Now for the innovations. The first thing you will notice is that these use a standard AAA battery. With that easy-to-find power source, you will get up to 50,000 hours of battery life. You read that right, 50,000 hours. This is because the MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) optic will turn itself off when the firearm sits idle for a period of time, but will instantly turn itself on at the slightest movement, making it perfect for your home-defense rifle or SBR.

The next feature you may notice is that that windage and elevation adjustments do not have screw-on covers. They sit flush on the top and side of the sight and are quickly adjustable with the included tool or a standard screwdriver.

The reticle will toggle between a 2 MOA red dot or the circle-dot. You can select which is best for your situtation. And with 10 illumination settings (8 daylight plus 2 night vision) you can easily see the reticle in all light conditions.
