Pistol Safety Class 9/18/2022

This is a Firearm Safety and Basic Pistol class combined with our exclusive concealed carry course. Those who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate which can be used as proof of training for your Virginia concealed handgun permit (CHP) application.

This course includes range time with live fire. We recommend that you bring the gun you will carry once you get your permit, however you are welcome to bring more than one pistol for practice. We suggest 200 rounds of ammunition. Minimum requirement is 100 rounds.

If you don't own a handgun please contact us and we will make arrangements for loaners. You will pay an additional fee to cover ammunition, but we will supply several handguns for you to use.

Lunch is included in the one day course. If the course is done over a series of days then no lunch will be provided.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: We are offering limited, smaller class sizes and scheduling classes on an as-needed basis. We will be holding this class in an open environment which allows for plenty of elbow room.

Course Cost: $145.00

There is a minimum deposit of $50.00 required to hold your seat. You can pay the entire amount through this link or call our store during business hours to pay the deposit. If you choose to make the deposit the balance must be paid in full at least 1 week before the course date so that we can make sure we have adequate student packets available.

Once you register we will be in contact via email with details on what to expect, what to bring, and what we supply. We will also send a reminder email closer to the class date.

Safety is our top priority. We will go over some basic safety items in the email and review all safety rules in the class and again on the range. VIOLATION OF SAFETY RULES WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION FROM THE CLASS with no refund.

Deposits are nonrefundable, and the course fee is nonrefundable if cancelled within two weeks of the class date. However, should an emergency crop up we may apply your deposit and/or payment to a future class. Repeated cancellations will result in forfeiture of the right to reschedule.

*Average time. Actual class time depends on the number of students and the speed at which they progress through the course material.
